It actually snowed in Miami back on Jan. 18, 1977 so the folks at The Spillover in Coconut Grove want to celebrate the 42nd Anniversary by hosting the First Annual Snow Miami Parade Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. at Vicky’s House.
No, Vicky’s House is not a residence, it’s another business run by Matt Kushner, owner of The Spillover, The Spillover and Lokal all in Coconut Grove and also KUSH in Overtown.
Everyone attending is asked to dress in their best snow attire, strip your gear and then prepare to march in the hopes for snow again, from Vicky’s House to The Spillover for live music, free beer and bar bites from the new La Cocina menu. Any proceeds from the event will be donated to the Miami Rescue Mission. Best dressed wins a gift basket.
