To help take some of the sting out of tax day, many restaurants and other businesses are offering tax day discounts and freebies. Some of the deals are only valid on Monday, April 15; others are good before and after.
Here’s the list of tax day freebies and deals in Miami.
- Applebee’s: Applebee’s is serving $1 Dollaritas all month long.
- Boston Market: Order a half chicken individual meal with two sides, cornbread and a regular fountain beverage for $10.40, only April 10-15. Valid at participating restaurants. No coupon required. Join the VIP Club and get $3 off a purchase of $10 or more with this coupon.
- BurgerFi: Download the BurgerFi app and score a $4.15 BurgerFi cheeseburger on April 15.
- Chili’s: This offer is not just for Tax Day, but for the entire month of April. Get the Cherry Blossom Margarita for $5.
- Firehouse Subs: FREE medium sub when you purchase an additional medium or large sub, chips and a medium drink. You will need this Firehouse Subs coupon to get the deal. The offer is valid April 15-17.
- Great American Cookies: Get a FREE original chocolate chip cookie on April 15. Limit one per guest.
- HydroMassage: Get a FREE massage (April 11-20). You’ll need to call ahead for an appointment (except for Planet Fitness locations) and you’ll need this coupon.
- Kona Ice: Kona Ice is offering free shave ice on “Chill Out Day,” April 15. Find a truck location here
- McDonald’s: Buy one 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or Big Mac between and get the second one for $.01 (a penny). Offer good after 10:30 a.m. through midnight.
- The National Hotel: Two for one drink specials and $8 tapas in the Blues Bar.
- Office Depot and Office Max: Shred 5 pounds of documents for FREE. You’ll need this coupon.
- Orbitz: On Monday, April 15, Orbitz will match the amount paid in taxes and fees in Orbucks.
- Schlotsky’s: Get a free small The Original with the purchase of a medium drink and chips.
- Sonic: Half price shakes and ice cream slushes after 8 p.m.Tony Roma’s: Visit Tony Roma’s until April 28 to try out their new Hits with a Twist menu.
- TooJay’s Deli: Burger and beverage combo for only $10.40 and any TooJay’s location. Coupon required.
