Miami-Dade libraries offer free mask giveaway

Miami-Dade libraries offer free mask giveaway

Planning on returning any library books soon? When you do, be sure to pick up your free mask.

That’s right, aside from being a resource for book borrowing and so much more, all 50 branches in the Miami-Dade County Public Library System will be distributing free masks to anyone in need, while supplies last.

To keep up with latest news, sign up for the daily Miami on the Cheap newsletter. You can also follow us on Facebook and on Twitter and visit our Facebook group page.

The initiative is an effort to ensure that Miami-Dade residents are complying with the current county order. As of July 1, masks must be work in all public areas whether indoors or outdoors.

Failure to wear a mask can result in a $100 fine, so take advantage of this free offer and get to your local library before the masks run out! Click here to see all library locations or call 305-375-2665 to find out procedures for picking one up.

Aside from this initiative, the Miami-Dade Library systems has plenty of summer online programming and additional resources. Read about them here:
