Live music: Head to drive-in festival this Saturday

Savor live entertainment from your vehicle at a special drive-in event.

Head right across the Miami-Dade/Broward county line to Hallandale Beach for the Drive-in Live Music Festival, starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 30. The entrance will on U.S. 1 and Northeast Eighth Street.

Admission is $10 per vehicle ($12.24 with fees) – but it’s free for first-responders. According to the event website, you receive a $10 credit back for food and drinks at the event.

Proceeds from the event at Atlantic Village parking lot, 801 N. Federal Highway, will go toward supporting first-responders.

The concert will feature a mix of local jazz, rock, blues and reggae performers, including:
  • Rock Trax
  • Wind Up The Monkey
  • Sista Mary Beth
  • Mark Telesca

IMPORTANT: Health safety practices will be required, including face protection, physical distancing and hand washing, according to the organizers, Atlantic Village and Blues Burgers Productions.

You should also be aware that no refunds will be given due to inclement weather. If the event has to be canceled for this reason, organizers say they will arrange a new time and day.
