Halloween ‘haunted’ houses & rides

Lots of Halloween events focus on sweet treats &  family-friendly fun.  Others are spooky.

For spookier events, parental discretion is often recommended, especially for ages 12 and younger.

 

Halloween Attractions

Tree Tops Park in Davie, $18-$72

Walk-through “haunted” trails at Tree Tops Park in Davie.

Regular event is designed for ages 13 & older. Parental discretion advised for ages 12 & younger. Event includes elements of violence & special effects October 22, October 23,  October 29, October 30 & October 31, fees are $32 per person, fees included, for 1 trail, $42 with extra trail, & $72 for Express.

Toned-down version Twilight Walk for Families, recommended for ages 6 & older, is October 30 & October 31, $18 per person with fees included, or $29, with fees included, for Express.

Haunted House, Festival Marketplace, free

Attraction is offered 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. October 23-31, Festival Marketplace is at 2900 West Sample Road, Pompano Beach 33073, 954-979-4555. Free parking.

Haunted House, Davie, $15

Indoor Attraction with blinking lights, noises and other spooky fun.  7  p.m. – 10 p.m. October 29 -30 @ Bamford Sports Complex, 3801 S. Pine Island Road, Davie 33328. $15 fee. Face covering required. 

No line. Waiting is in an air-conditioned area with photo booth and food for purchase. 

Haunted Hayride, $15

October 30 Haunted Hayride, recommended for ages 12 & older, $15

Hayrides

  • Flamingo Gardens in Davie offers harvest festival events with hayrides, regular entry fees apply
  • Flamingo Road Nursery, fall displays with scarecrows, tractor-pulled hayrides through an oak hammock, and pumpkin patch are offered 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. October -November 7.  Hayrides are $6. Flamingo Road Nursery, 1655 S. Flamingo Road, Davie 33325, 954-476-7878
  • Boo Bash, Free entry for Halloween event, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. October 29 @ Pompano Community Park, 1660 NE 10th Street, Pompano Beach. Festivities include rides, inflatable rides, performers, pumpkin patch, hayride, DJ entertainment &  dancing, haunted trail. Costume contest @ 8 p.m., website, 954-786-4111
  • Hayrides & outdoor family fun in Broward
