The cast from City Theatre is hosting a series of free play readings called City Reads at Books & Books in Coral Gables on the first Friday of the month at 7:30 p.m.
Known primarily for their popular “Summer Shorts” series, they’ll present readings from several of their 10-minute plays, at each event. Each month has a different theme and some of the material will be new while others will be from their favorites.
Here’s the schedule:
- March 6 – Critter Shorts short plays about critters/animals
- April 3 – Spring Into Shorts a series of short plays about Spring
Miami’s fourth oldest theater company, City Theatre develops and produces predominantly new work in the short play and short musicals genre.
