Immerse your kids in the world of theater with two special events planned this month as part of the International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami.
The festival offers a free International Children’s Day on two days actually: July 17-18, 2021.

This annual celebration of bilingual theater is presented in collaboration with Teatro Avante, organizer of the Hispanic festival (taking place Thursdays to Sundays, through July 25). All performances are offered in Spanish with English supertitles.
Admission and parking are free.
This year’s performance is “Un Bosque Encantado” (An Enchanted Forest), written and directed by Camila Rivera, Tatiana Samper and Daniel Roa.
2021 Schedule
Saturday, July 17 | 5 p.m. at Key Biscayne Community Center, 10 Village Green Way
- Play: “Un Bosque Encantado” (An Enchanted Forest)
Sunday July 18 | 2-6 p.m. at Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s On.Stage Black Box Theatre, 2901 W. Flagler St.
- 2-3 p.m.: Arts and crafts, rides, face painting and distribution of meals
- 3-4 p.m.: Painting and puppetry workshops
- 4-5 p.m.: Mime workshops
- 5-6 p.m.: “Un Bosque Encantado” (An Enchanted Forest)
