The City of North Miami Beach multi-cultural committee and Commissioner Barbara Kramer are hosting a free concert Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. at the Julius Littman Performing Arts Theater.
Headlining the event is Latin percussionist Tito Puente, Jr. and his Latin Jazz Ensemble and joining him will be special guest Melina Almodovar. Puente, Jr. will perform music from his extensive repertoire off his albums “Got Mambo?,” “Sounds of the Latin Flow” and more. Puerto Rican singer Almodovar will join him on “Mi Socio” as well as performer some of her hits.
