Comcast is bringing Xfinity Watchathon Week back for its sixth year. That means that Xfinity TV customers can get free access to thousands of movies and TV shows on more than 50 networks, including AMC, FX, HBO, MTV, NBC, SHOWTIME and STARZ. The Watchathon runs April 16-22.
Customers can also sample Netflix and more than two dozen subscription video on demand services, including Acorn TV, AMC Premiere, FX+, Lifetime Movie Club, HISTORY Vault and even DOGTV — television for dogs.
Customers with the Xfinity Internet-only service will be able to watch a subset of the services using the Xfinity Stream app or portal. The full Showtime catalog will be available only April 19-22.
