Free ‘First Fridays’ events in Surfside

The Town of Surfside invites Miamians to a series of four events, which will be held every first Friday of the month from JUne until September. The events are free and open to the public.

The schedule is:

• Aug. 3: Savasana on the Sand
• Sept. 7: Endless Summer

Savasana on the Sand: The event will feature yoga, meditation crystal healing sessions, sound bowl demonstrations, mini-spa treatments, a salt scrub bar and healthy bites. Also, other family-friendly activities and bring mangoes and coconuts to incorporate into a healthy smoothie.

The First Fridays beach picnic is scheduled from 4-7 pm at the Oceanfront Community Center, located at 9301 Collins Ave.
