Now that most places are welcoming the public, Miami is preparing for a fun Easter season … complete with egg hunt adventures and photo opportunities for the entire family.
Yes, social distancing measures and limited capacity are in effect at most places, but there is still a plethora of entertainment, including brunch spots, bunny sightings and more.

Bunny Photo Experience & scavenger hunt at Dadeland
Dadeland Mall is offering a socially distanced Bunny Photo Experience through April 3. The Easter Bunny and its helpers will be wearing masks – and guests will be required to wear them too! The photo experience starts at $20.
Hours are noon to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. Organizers highly encourage that families make an appointment before arriving. Click here to make an appointment.
Additionally, on March 29, Dadeland Mall is presenting an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt from noon to 2 p.m. in the Center Court. This event is free and geared toward children age 12 and younger. Please note: All guests are asked to follow state and local COVID safety recommendations.
Participants will receive an Easter bucket – one per child, while supplies last! – and an Egg Scavenger Hunt map. Once they have five or more plastic eggs from participating stores, they have a chance to win the Golden Egg prize. For more information or to RSVP, click here.

Egg-Venture at Zoo Miami
Explore Zoo Miami in a whole different way with this mobile egg hunt experience.
Egg-Venture will offer visitors the opportunity to use an app on their mobile phones to search for clues and find 12 eggs hidden throughout the walkways. Guests may redeem their prize of eight treat-filled, eco-friendly eggs.
Of course, families may also enjoy the zoo grounds and animal residents!
The event is free with zoo admission, which is $18.95 per child and $22.95 per adult. When you make your online reservation, don’t forget to use the code ZOOMIAMI for access to the event.

Easter Bunny photos in Doral
Spend $25 from a downtown Doral retailer and get a free bunny photo experience on Main Street every Sunday in March, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Proof of receipt is needed in order to take pictures with the Easter bunny. You can RSVP by clicking here.
Easter Drive-Thru Celebration
The Shops at Merrick Park is throwing its annual Easter event celebration with music, entertainment and giveaways.
This special event, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. March 27, will include one goody bag per child (while supplies last) and raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes.
And there will even be a special guest! The Easter bunny will be joined by Zoo Miami wildlife expert Ron Magill. This event is free, but to RSVP, click here.
EGGstravaganza in the Redlands
Fill your baskets with eggs during the EGGstravaganza adventure at Christ Fellowship Redland, 16390 SW 248th St., Homestead.
The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon March 27. Organizers describe it as “a safe, sanitized, and socially distant egg hunt.”

Southland Mall
Southland Mall is hosting a series of events for families including magic shows, Easter bunny photos, and monthly Kids Club events.
- Saturday, March 27, 1 p.m. at the Center Court – Don’t miss the magic of the Amazing Mr. A, as he entertains families as part of Southland Mall’s Kids Club event series.
- Now through April 3 at the Center Court – Every Bunny Loves Easter – Families can hop on over to get their photos taken with the Easter Bunny. Mondays through Saturdays, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 – 7 p.m., Closed on Easter Sunday. Special pet photos with the Easter Bunny will be held on Thursday, April 1st.
- Saturday, April 3, 1-3 p.m. at the Center Court – The mall will host a special Easter-themed mixed arts & crafts project for kids by Art & Juice Miami.
- Throughout Spring – Southland Mall has created a special springtime garden wall for everyone to take a photo or selfie. Decorated with flowers and butterflies, the wall is located next to City Gear Miami.
