Miami-Dade County Auditorium’s free Fun Arts for the Family Series continues with the feature-length theatrical production Dino-Light on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. Although the performance is free, a ticket is required and there is a slight Ticketmaster fee.
The original storyline, created and performed by Ian Carney and Corin Popp, tells the story of a famous scientist with magic powers who brings a friendly dinosaur to life. When the dinosaur wanders away from home, he discovers a wonderful world full of creatures that light up the darkness and help him find the true meaning of love. Lined with electroluminescent wire, the glow-in-the-dark adventure plays out on stage through a cutting-edge blend of puppetry, technology and dance. The show received the Jim Henderson Foundation Grant.
Doors open 60 minutes before show time. Free parking is available on-site. RSVP online at www.ticketmaster.com or in-person at the box office, open Monday-Friday at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For show information, please call the Auditorium at 305.547.5414 or visit www.MiamiDadeCountyAuditorium.org.
