Bookworms and lovers of books, get yourselves to The Bend Liquor Lounge for free books on Friday, Jan. 17 at 6 p.m. That’s when Bookleggers Library will be celebrating the installation of their new bookbox there, calling it “Bendleggers.”
Over the last few months, the folks with Bookleggers Library have built bookboxes in the historic Dorsey Library in Overtown, in Everglades Correctional Institute for their prison project “Booked Library” and this one’s for the locals in Hialeah.
The celebration also includes $5 old fashioned’s from the friendly folks at the Bend Liquor Lounge.
