Where to celebrate Father’s Day in Miami

Father’s Day with Hugo Boss and Miami Kids Magazine is coming to the the Shops at Merrick Park, 358 San Lorenzo Ave., Coral Gables. From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, June 18, there will be bubbly for the adults, soft drinks for the kids and other family activities. (Plus, if you want to treat Dad to something special at the Hugo Boss store, there’s a 30 percent discount on select menswear.) Free.

Yacht Rock Miami at The Citadel is having a Father’s Day Weekend Edition from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday, June 19. Enjoy an evening with smooth grooves dating back to the ’70s while sampling food from The Citadel Food Hall. This event, on the first floor at 8300 NE Second Ave., will include a giveaway for Dad. Free.

Father’s Day Weekend Car Show at Peterson’s Harley-Davidson of Miami, 19400 NW Second Ave., will feature live music, food trucks and more from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 19. The car show is presented by Viking Customs. Free.

Father’s Day Fishing Tournament, starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 19, is for Miami Lakes residents only. Considered a Miami Lakes tradition, this event at Miami Lakes Optimist Park, 6411 NW 162nd St., aims to bring fathers and their children together for a day of outdoor fun. Make sure to visit the event link for catch-and-release rules and other tournament details. Free.   

CityPlace Doral Father’s Day Car Show will present “cool cars to celebrate cool dads!” Sponsored by Supercar Week, the showcase is expected to have supercars, hot rods, as well as muscle, race, exotic, vintage and electric cars. Peruse the vehicles from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 20, and stay at CityPlace Doral to shop or dine. For more information, email info@supercarweek.com or call 954-296-5204. Free.

Father’s Day Classic Car Show, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 20, offers another chance at a car show – but this time, in Hollywood. If you don’t mind the drive just past the Miami-Dade/Broward border, head to the Knights of Columbus, 600 Knights Road. Expect all kinds of classic cars, food trucks, entertainment provided by a DJ, and plenty of kids’ activities. The car show is presented by Russ G Events. Free.

Father’s Day at The Yard with DJ Xtreme invites dads to sit back and chill with tunes from the radio personality, starting at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 20. Fuel up with eats from savory and sweet culinary vendors and sip on cocktails, beer, and wine from The Bar at The Yard and the Main Street Bar! Free.

Grove Market Father’s Day Pop Up, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 20, was made for dads who enjoy a relaxing day out with the whole family. Brunch and shop from over 25 local artisans, check out the cars on display while jamming to music. The event is presented by Coconut Grove Artisanal Market at St. Stephen’s Church. Free.
