For a break from urban sights of South Florida, enjoy a tour of an educational farm that includes pigs, sheep and other barnyard animals.
Tradewinds Park in North Broward offers farm tours on weekends for $3 a person. You’ll also pay a park entry fee on weekends, which is $1.50 a person for ages 6 and older.
Most weekends, farm tours are 11:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Third full weekends of the month, tours are 10:30 a.m. 11:15, a.m., 12 p.m. 1:15 p.m., 2 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Information is online.
