MIAMI-DADE
ASPCA: Although it is temporarily suspending veterinary care services, medical emergencies are being addressed. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will provide assistance in finding a nearby veterinary emergency hospital. Go to the website or call 844-692-7722.
Southeast Veterinary Referral Center refers to itself as the “Pet Emergency Room” because of its extensive ER capabilities to handle several procedures and tests. Go to the website or call 305-666-4142.
Miami Veterinary Specialists provides emergency critical care for animals around the clock. Go to the website or call 305-665-2820.
Animal Emergency Clinic of South Florida offers surgery, exams and consultations, a pharmacy, diagnostics and preventive medicine. Go to the website or call 305-251-2096.
Humane Society of Greater Miami can help you find an emergency hospital for your pet. Staff are not doing surgeries at the moment but have other services available. Go to the website or call 305-696-0800.
BROWARD
Advanced Veterinary Care Center is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call ahead to alert staff that you will be coming. Go to the website or call 954-500-8387.
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Fort Lauderdale remains open 24 hours, seven days a week but with curbside service. Visit their website or call 954-641-1100.
DPC Veterinary Hospital in Davie is open seven days a week but there is no veterinarian on staff Wednesdays and Thursdays. See their hours and various services on their website or call 954-989-9879.
Oakland Park Animal Hospital is open Monday through Saturday offering complete veterinary services and after-hours emergency care. Visit their website or call 954-953-0009.
Humane Society of Broward County has a comprehensive list of pet hospitals and emergency rooms. The shelter remains open to take care of homeless pets and for select services, including vaccine and spay/neuter operations. Go to the website or call 954-989-3977.
