Easter 2020 is a little different than what we expected. But there are still ways to make Easter meaningful for the family and fun for the kids while staying at home.

You can find plenty of streaming Easter services and creative online events. Check out this list of unique ideas to celebrate Easter in Miami. 

 

EASTER SERVICES

Live stream of the 94th annual Easter Sunrise Service with Rev. Tim Nunez, Rector of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Lake Wales, Fla., and sacred carillon music performed by Geert D’hollander.

Easter Mass held by Pope Francis

1 p.m.

The Florida Orchestra Easter concert
Performing Handel’s “Messiah”

Performance can be heard for freee on Classical WSMR 89.1 and 103.9 FM radio and online at WSMR.org.

Local church services
Most churches have switched to virtual services on Facebook LIVE. Check your local church’s Facebook page for service hours.

EASTER EGG HUNTS & EVENTS

Decorate Easter eggs and hide them at home.
Have eggs in stock? Decorate some using items you probably already have at home. Check out these creative Easter egg ideas.

Support a local farmer: Buy your produce directly from a local farm near you.
