ArtCenter South Florida Studio Crawl in South Beach

ArtCenter South Florida’s Resident Night (former called Studio Crawl) takes place the first Wednesday of every month, from 7 to 10 pm. Visitors can wander throughout the ArtCenter’s two buildings, talk with the resident artists in their studios and view the current exhibitions.

ArtCenter South Florida is at 800/810/924 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.

ArtCenter’s Resident Night for the month of July will kick-off the XXIV Subtropics Festival with two sound art installations LISTEN and Microcosmos. LISTEN features a series of adapted sound works by the festival’s Director, Gustavo Matamoros, in a space designed by Freddy Jouwayed. Microcosmos is a sonic and visual installation by Miami-based artist Alba Triana.
Also taking place during Resident Night is the opening reception of PlushSpace by Laura Marsh. In PlushSpace, the viewer is invited to engage with textile forms created from text and symbols exploring artist and curator roles, fem symbolism, and national identities.

This event is free and open to the public.
Complimentary wine and refreshments.
