Downtown Hollywood Artwalk with live entertainment is 6 p.m. – 11 p.m. third Saturdays. Event includes artisan vendors, mural walk at 6 p.m., gallery walk @ 7 p.m. & 9 p.m., Impulse Art featuring artist Daniel Pontet who paints with his foot accompanied with live drumming.

Description: “…vividly hued freestanding sculptures that reflect the West African traditions of the linguist staff, ornamental hairpin, Adinkra symbols and kente cloth colors, Walking Sticks with Stories to Tell embraces the rich cultural heritage of West Africa…”

Online Exhibit featuring African Art

Virtual African Art exhibit features interactive online exhibit of African artifacts. Display is from African-American Research Library & Cultural Center in Fort Lauderdale. Display is online .

Description: “Anyone with computer access can view and virtually interact with the exhibited items. Visitors have the opportunity and ability to do things they could not do with live exhibits of archival artifacts, such as download them, freely manipulate objects to explore them more closely and even 3D print them as personal replicas to keep or share. Viewing in Google Chrome browser is recommended.”
