Free national park pass for 4th graders and families

Free national park pass for 4th graders and families

See the wildlife living in Everglades National Park, like this alligator and turtles.

Got a 4th grade student in the house?

If so, thanks to the Every Kid in a Park initiative, that fourth grader, plus everyone else in the family, can get into any United States National Park for FREE.

You simply need to download the FREE National Parks Admission Pass here, print it out and show it at any national park, participating campground, wildlife refuge, tour, or more. You must have the pass on you to gain entrance.

Perhaps you already have a trip planned for an upcoming weekend or even for next summer vacation? Or, you’re thinking of putting together a camping trip – National Park campgrounds are usually pretty inexpensive anyway, but FREE is always better, especially if you want to stay a few nights.

Finding out where to use your FREE National Parks Admission Pass is easy:

  • Search for all the participating locations here.
  • Simply select one of the four “plan your trip” options
  • You’ll be directed to a place you search by state.

And if you happen to be a 4th grade teacher, you can print out a pass for each of your students.

You can find all of the rules for the FREE National Parks Admission Pass here.
