The 56th Annual Junior Orange Bowl International Tennis Championship, one of the most prestigious junior tennis tournaments in the world, is scheduled for 8 am-6 pm from Dec. 10-19 at various tennis venues located in Key Biscayne and Coral Gables. The public is invited to watch for free.

This internationally recognized event welcomes more than 1,500 of the top ranked male and female 12-and-under and 14-and-under junior players representing more than 75 countries around the world.

Over the past 55 years, many participants have become tennis legends, such as Andre Agassi, Jimmy Conners, Chris Evert, Mary Joe Fernandez, Steffi Graf, and Monica Seles. Many players also went on to become 2016 Olympic Medalists, such as Monica Puig (Gold) Medalist, Andy Murray (Gold), Juan Martin del Potro (Silver), and Kei Nishikori (Bronze).

Schedule:

  • Qualifying matches – Dec. 10-12
  • Main Draw Matches – Dec.13-19
  • Semifinals and Finals – Dec 18-19

  • Boys 14 and under – Tennis Center at Crandon Park, 7300 Crandon Blvd, Key Biscayne, FL 33149.
  • Girls 14 and under – University of Miami Neil Schiff Tennis Center on San Amaro Drive near Mataro Avenue, Coral Gables campus, FL 33146.
  • Boys 12 and under – Salvadore Park, 1120 Andalusia Ave, Coral Gables, FL 33134.
  • Girls 12 and under – William H. Kerdyk Biltmore Tennis Center, 1150 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables, FL 33134.
