There will, in fact, be free holiday events taking place at Miami malls. But we aware that these will require social distancing, face coverings and reservations.

Dadeland Mall Holiday Events:

- Nightly snowfall: Through Jan. 3, 2020 at 5 and 7 p.m. in the Fashion Wing near Tesla.
The Falls Holiday Events:
- Photos with Santa: Nov. 27 through Dec. 24 Click here to RSVP
- Snowfalls: Nov. 27 through Dec. 26 Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m. in Center Court.
Miami International Mall Holiday Events:

Aventura Mall Holiday Events:
- Meet and Greet with Dr. Seuss’s The Grinch at The Grinch’s Grotto: Nov. 27 through Dec. 31 (excluding Christmas Day) at Treats Food Hall. $50 for a party of five. Click here for tickets.
- The Aventura Station holiday display located on the Lower Level next to Zara through early January.
- Deck the Halls Shoppe by The Christmas Palace: Pop-up holiday display located in a glass atrium featuring 10-foot-tall Nutcrackers, oversized Christmas trees and decorative flowers, gingerbread houses, crystal dolls, decorative reindeer and more than two dozen holiday-themed categories.
CityPlace Doral Holiday Events:
- Holiday Stroll on the Plaza: Stroll around the Fountain Plaza and take in the pop-up Artisan Market, a great place to find unique gifts plus, listen to holiday music and watch a live art show. In the evening enjoy the decorated Christmas tree and palm trees, lit with hundreds of holiday lights and the colorful fountain waters choreographed to holiday music. The displays will remain lit nightly from 6-11 p.m. through Dec. 31.
Brickell City Centre Holiday Events:
- Santa’s Post Office pop-up event with socially-distanced photos with Santa, letter to Santa materials to create your own customized wish list and designated pet photo days. Kids will love the playful Santa’s workshop backdrop with a display of toys, workshop tools and colorful wrapping paper. Open for letter-writing and Instagram selfies daily from 1-5 p.m., Santa will be there Saturdays and Sundays during those hours. Pet photo days will be Dec. 6 and 13 during these hours as well. Open Nov. 27-Dec. 24.
Shops at Merrick Park
- North Pole virtual visits happen through Jan. 7. The holiday festivities include story time with Santa or Mrs. Claus and a pre-recorded message with Santa that kids will love. Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. is the Holiday Drive-Thru Celebration along San Lorenzo Ave. to view the holiday light display, listen to holiday music, enjoy free giveaways from participating stores and a special appearance from Santa. Bring an unwrapped toy and be entered in a raffle for a chance to win great prizes. Hosted by Miami Kids Magazine and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital.
Southland Mall
- Santa makes his grand entrance in a Mercedes-Benz on Dec. 19 at 1 p.m. by the Mall’s main entrance by DSW. Then until 4 p.m. enjoy selfies by the holiday selfie wall display next to City Gear. Click here for details on Santa hours and more holiday festivities at Southland Mall.
