For an added element of safety, Broward Sheriff’s Office offers some of its stations to exchange merchandise and money.
The designated transaction zones, including parking lots and lobbies of some BSO district offices, are free to use. The district offices generally are open specific hours and it’s wise to meet during the district office’s business hours when BSO staff is onsite.
If you’re setting up a transaction, it’s wise to phone early to be sure the offer for a “transaction zone” is offered at a specific location. Sellers and buyers are encouraged to walk into the lobby to let the deputies know they’ll be doing a transaction.
