The holiday season is upon us and the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami is hosting a few concerts to celebrate.
On Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7:30 p.m. they’ll perform the “Messiah Sing-In” in collaboration with the FIU Concert Choir, Orchestra and soloists. The performance will be conducted by Kathryn K. Longo with Juvenal Correa-Salas on harpsichord and Maurina Paulina-Garcia on chamber organ. Concert takes place at FIU’s Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center Concert Hall. Tickets are $5-$15.
On Saturday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. the Chorale along with the MDC Kendall Chamber Singers will perform “Harmonies for the Holidays,” a program directed by Misty Bermudez with accompanist Dr. Joseph Talleda . Saturday’s concert is at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Miami and Sunday’s is at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors. Kids six and under are free.
