Palmetto Bay plans to ‘Light Up Your Holidays’

Welcome the holidays with a festive tree lighting.

The Village of Palmetto Bay will host the “Light Up Your Holidays” celebration from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Village Hall. Admission is $5 per person and free for children age 2 and younger.

This year, the village is partnering with the South Florida Police Benevolent Association to host this socially-distanced event. Face coverings will be required for all in attendance, and temperature checks will be taken at entry.

The event will also be streamed live on the Village of Palmetter Bay Facebook page.

The event will include:

  • Christmas tree lighting
  • Individually wrapped holiday treats
  • A gingerbread house and craft activities
  • Live music and a family show

Holiday fun at Santa’s Spectacular drive-thru event

With Santa’s Enchanted Forest canceled this year, something had to take its place.
