Free Piano Slam classical hip-hop mash-up

The Dranoff International Piano Foundation will present their free Piano Slam 12 at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28, at the Arsht Center.

Piano duo Daniel Strange and Rachel Ohnsman will perform a classical/hip-hop mash-up featuring Beethoven, Bad Bunny, Gershwin, Lizzo and Bach with the beats of DJ Cardi and the debut works of Miami’s hot young poets.

The performance is choreographed by Miami’s own Rosie Herrera with music by Martin Bejerano and directed by Ilana Ransom Toeplitz.

While the performance is free, first-access passes are required to guarantee seating. You can get those passes here. There is a four-pass limit per guest.
