Pinecrest Gardens twinkles with its ‘Nights of Lights’

Pinecrest Gardens’ “Nights of Lights” features glittering and larger-than-life light installations during the holidays.

The area transforms itself into a winter wonderland dotted by thousands of twinkling lights that go up, through and around the whimsical botanical landscape. 

Please note that the event is enforcing social-distance guidelines, with a limited daily capacity. Walkups might be possible, but visitors are urged to check the official website or Facebook page for updates.

“Nights of Lights” will be available from 6 to 10 p.m.  Nov. 27 through Jan. 3. Tickets cost $7 if you buy them online in advance or $10 at the door. Admission is free for children age 2 and younger. 

Pinecrest Gardens members are required to RSVP at least 24 hours before attending the event by emailing eavila@pinecrest-fl.gov or calling 305-669-6990.

New this year: a section of sparkling holiday lights and fun surprises in the Lower Gardens. Additionally, children can enjoy storytime with Mrs. Claus at 6:30 and 8 p.m.

On select evenings, admission includes a holiday concert performance in the historic Banyan Bowl.  

Dec. 13 at 6:30 p.m.: Electric Holidays concert by members of the Alhambra Orchestra. “Alhambra Amped” electric ensemble will perform a host of Christmas and Hannukah favorites.

Pinecrest Gardens is a Village of Pinecrest publicly owned and operated outdoor recreation area at 11000 Red Road.
