The circus is in town! In Hialeah, to be more exact.
Catch Circus Lena at Westland Mall, 1625 W. 49th St., every day (except Tuesdays), through May 9, 2021. The 90-minute show under the Big Top will feature acrobats, jugglers, clowns, hand-balancing acts and more!

Here’s the thing: At $25 per adult, ticket prices are not that “cheap.” But we know many Miamians are looking for fun things to do after a year of lockdown and may be willing to pay a little extra.
General admission costs $15 for children. Those younger than age 1 enter for free but don’t get a separate seat (must be seated on an adult’s lap, according to organizers). VIP PODS, with four front-row seats to each pod, cost $120. There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase.
Show times are: 7 p.m. Monday-Friday (except Tuesday); 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday.

What about safety protocols? Well, Circus Lena has some rules: You must wear a face mask and maintain the required social distance of at least 6 feet. The audience capacity has been reduced from its typical 660 guests to 200 patrons seated in parties of two to five, and hand sanitizer is available on-site.
According to the official website: “While the pandemic is still with us, Circus Lena will be taking measured steps to re-open our shows to restore the livelihoods of our artists and employees as quickly as possible, but as safely as possible, following closely the guidance from government and medical experts … we ask that you only visit our show with others you have quarantined with. If you are not feeling well or have been near someone with COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home and consult your doctor.”
