Lowe Art Museum announces reopening plans – see what else is open/closed in Miami

Keeping track of what’s open or closed throughout Miami-Dade County can seem like a daunting task. So we’ve compiled a list to help you out!

Keep in mind that the status of places may suddenly change, so we always advise checking with a venue (when possible) for official confirmation. We’ll be updating this list, so you can check back here as well.

Additionally, while you’re checking that, it’s always a good idea to read up on new established safety protocols and guidelines for each place. Facial coverings and social distancing are required at many places throughout South Florida.

Popular Miami events canceled for 2020-2021

The year 2020 brought many firsts and never-before-seens. Now, it has canceled some of our favorite events, including Santa’s Enchanted Forest, Coral Gables Festival of the Arts, Coconut Grove Arts Festival, Florida Renaissance Festival and more.

We’ve compiled a roundup of canceled events, so you can see if your favorite festivals will take place or not. Many will have to wait for now, but hopefully they’ll be back soon! Click here to see which ones have been affected for the 2020-2021 season.

Miami events in 2021: A month-by-month guide

Of course, not all events have been canceled. Throughout South Florida, there are still plans for car shows, art festivals and more in 2021.

We’ve compiled a month-by-month roundup of events in our area. Keep in mind that some events may be virtual. Others may follow strict safety protocols. You’ll want to get all the details and decide which options are best for you and your family. Click here for this handy guide to Miami events!
