Music in Miami concert series

The Music in Miami concert series, a chamber music series involving South Florida professional musicians and composers, has launched its 2017-18 schedule. The series, which performs classical music, was founded by Kathie Griffiths and Modesto Marcano.

All concerts begin at 4 pm at at Trinity Cathedral, 464 NE 16th St., Miami, FL 33132. The schedule is as follows:

• Nov. 19: Eclec-Trio featuring Humberto Bolivar on violin, Nicolas Real on flute and Juvenal Correa-Salas on piano and organ. They will be performing music by Manuel de Falla, Astor, Mozart, Ibert and Rota.
• Dec. 10: Eclec-Trio featuring Venezuelan cellist German Marcano in a holiday concert.
• Feb. 18, 2018: German Marcano in Performance
• April 15: Master String Composers featuring the STRATUS4 String Quartet.

Tickets: $15 online. $20 at the door. Free for children 12 and under. At the door only: $10 for students with valid ID and seniors with photo ID.
