The popular annual Polar Express train ride, named after the Christmas book and movie, is on sale now.
The train ride at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum in South Dade is about a one-hour ride to the “North Pole” that features:
- cookies and hot chocolate
- read-alongs from the classic children’s book, The Polar Express, by Chris Van Allsburg
- Christmas carols with chefs
- elf sightings
Once you get to the “North Pole,” a very special person (wink, wink, might be St. Nick) will board the train on your ride back, allowing for photos with Santa Claus and each child gets a silver sleigh bell.
The rides run from through Dec. 30, but tickets sell out quickly. Arrive 30 minutes early.
Tickets are $39.97 for coach, or a table for 4 first class for $64.97.
